Village Books will once again host its annual Read-In to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Read-In has been a tradition for more than a decade. Local children are invited to gather at Village Books to hear stories in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., about the civil rights movement, tolerance, and diversity. Congressman Rick Larsen plans to stop by and participate in the event around 11:30am, and student volunteers form WWU will be on hand for the duration to read with the kids and lead them in a craft.
