Village Books is pleased to present a monthly "Local Author Showcase" the second Friday of each month at 7pm. The events bring local authors to our store, offering a chance for the authors to talk about their books and promote their new work in the community. Come support our local writers! In hot pursuit of an affair with a Spanish Don Juan, Francophobe Agnes’ plans derail by a French painter and transportation strike in Patricia Herlevi's new book Agnes Et Yves. Patricia Herlevi writes from Bellingham. Besides working as an independent arts journalist for 25 years, she penned two novels, Agnes et Yves and All Saints Day, as well as a collection of short stories. She writes "green" romantic comedies and magic realism. Village Books will soon carry copies of Patricia's book, Agnes Et Yves.
