Beginning Friday, November 23rd and continuing through Sunday, December 23rd, Village Books and Paper Dreams will be open later! Monday–Saturday: 10am until 9pm Sundays: 10am until 7pm. Our stores will be open Christmas Eve 9am-6pm, New Year’s Eve 9am-6pm, and New Year’s Day 10am-8:30pm. We will be closed Thanksgiving & Christmas Days.     Join us this holiday season for photos with the Grinch. Come have your picture taken with the Grinch in our Readings Gallery. Photos will be taken by local photographer Tim Chandonnet and are $10 for a disc with your digital images.

          Mark Turner and John Scurlock Start your holidays in the historic district during the Thanksgiving weekend! Fairhaven's 100-year-old buildings and streets will be decorated for the season, beginning tonight with the Art Walk at 5pm, and the Lighting of the Trees at the Fairhaven Village Green. Join us at Village Books as we host local photographer Mark Turner, who will sign copies of his book Bellingham Impressions on the main floor, and Skagit photographer John Scurlock, who will sign copies of his book Snow & Spire on the mezzanine level near Book Fare Cafe.
