Join chef/owner Charles Claassen at the Book Fare Café for a holiday Prix Fixe wine dinner. The food and wine selections will highlight the best flavors of the season. The menu for this evening includes Roasted Pumpkin Bisque with Pomegranate & Hazelnut Creme Fraiche; Coriander Seared King Salmon with Roasty Fingerlings, Golden Beets, & Fennel; and Cinnamon Macron Cookies with Blackberry Limoncello Jam and Lemon Curd. There will be an optional wine pairing, offering a Triennes Rosé with the bisque, and a blend from Woodinville's Haystack Needle called "The Eye" to compliment the salmon. Tickets are available at BrownPaperTickets.com, or directly at the Café. Proceeds to this dinner will benefit the Whatcom Hills Waldorf School's Class of 2013.
