    Ready for a fresh start in 2013? Need help making your New Year's resolutions? Join us Sat., Jan. 5 from 11am-4pm in the Readings Gallery at Village Books for our annual "Resolutions," a day devoted to starting the year right. From 11am-4pm, on the hour, we'll feature local experts presenting mini-workshops on topics ranging from social investing, to clearing the clutter, to healthful living. Come to one workshop or several, and bring your questions, ideas, and a snack too. Participants will receive 10% off recommended Resolutions-related books, that day only. Resolutions 2013 Schedule: 11am, Carolyn Koehnline, "Clearing Clutter for a Creative New Year" Creativity is where uninhibited exploration and practical organization meet. Nancy Canyon, MFA, fine artist and author, works and teaches in an art studio in the Morgan Block Building, 1000 Harris, #6, Fairhaven.  She also teaches "Wild Mind Writing" at Whatcom Community College and "Short-Short Fiction" at the Academy of Life Long Learning. Focusing on the body, Kerry will discuss strategies to make your physical fitness and injury rehabilitation New Year's Resolution goals more attainable.  She will also feature some ideas about injury prevention and Prehab.
