Village Books and WCC Community and Continuing Education have established a writing instruction collaboration called Chuckanut Writers. Writing classes, seminars, and conferences will inspire and encourage writers at all stages of their writing journey.

Ever wanted to just let yourself go? Wondered how far you could take your writing? In this class, you'll spend time writing, exploring experimental/hybrid writing techniques, and sharing your work with each other. We will look at work by the newest experimental and hybrid writers and discover untapped depths in our own creativity in the process. Class will culminate with an evening at one or more open mics in Bellingham. This class is for novices and seasoned writers looking for a place to explore their craft and push the envelope.

Instructor: Tawnya Renelle. Class meets Oct. 12, 19, 26, Nov. 2, 9, and 16. is $169; click to register. To see the full listing of current Chuckanut Writers classes, click here.
