Musician, music historian, and author Dick Weissman takes a comprehensive survey of the relationship between American music and politics from the songs of the immigrant experience and Native American music to modern day hip-hop, punk, and rock en español.  His presentations are a collision of history, music, and politics as he shows how politics affected music and how music has changed America.  Dick Weissman was a member of the legendary folk trio the Journeymen, and is author of 13 books on music and the music industry.
