How do we relate psychologically to nature? What can psychology tell us about how people might move toward living with less impact on our shared environment? These are the two large questions conservation psychology attempts to answer. Gene Myers, coauthor of this first text in this new field, is associate professor at Huxley College at WWU. His teaching and research concern how nature in all its variety touches us, and how human development can harmonize with human ecology.
