Kick-off Event for August "Locals in the Know" Series!

Join Mike Callaizakis (Executive Director of the Bellingham Bay Community Boating Center (BBCBC)) and a few other sea-faring folks as they entice you to get out onto the water under your own power. They’ll talk about the BBCBC and how it can help you explore our ‘front yard,’ Bellingham Bay. Located in Fairhaven, BBCBC is a non-profit organization with a mission of fostering access to and providing education about small craft boating for the people in our community.

Every Tuesday in August, Village Books will celebrate the breadth of expertise in area by offering our “Locals in the Know” series. This diverse showcase is but a sampling of the expansive knowledge our neighbors possess, and is sure to spark some engaging summer conversations.
