Books are awfully long, it turns out, and so a lot of endurance seems to be required to write them. But if the writing feels like the product of an endurance test -- some endless slog through difficult terrain, then the reading will probably feel just as grim and exhausting. This class will focus on techniques for keeping your joy up, remaining excited and in touch with the euphoria of writing, while also staying on task and not merely chasing your whims around. This workshop is $10 and will take place in the Readings Gallery of Village Books. Register at the main counter of Village Books, or calling 360-671-2626.
Join Peter for a reading from his latest novel,
The Dismal Science, in the Readings Gallery, following his workshop.
