"Thinking About Gender and Science Educational Pathways: What Does Research Suggest?"
Dr. Karen Bradley, a sociologist on the faculty at Western Washington University, will discuss issues surrounding gender and science. She will focus on commonly held beliefs as well as research findings concerning the pathways of women and men within science education and careers. She'll consider these issues within the context of the United States with some reference to other countries. Dr. Bradley has conducted research on these issues for several years.
