Five Western
Washington bookstores are joining together to host a "Lit Crawl" to celebrate the release of My Bookstore: Writers Celebrate Their Favorite Places to Browse, Read & Shop.
Here's the scoop:
You're invited to attend any of the individual events at each bookstore. You'll receive a stamp on a My Bookstore passport created just for the event, available at each participating store. If you get 3 or more stamps, you'll be entered for a chance to win some wonderful prizes. If you get all 5 stamps, you'll be entered for a chance to win a fabulous prize package, which will include a book from each participating author and a copy of My Bookstore. Isn't this a cool way to see authors, explore other bookstores, and explore our region? We think so. Below is the lineup for the 5 events:
- Mon., Nov. 12, 7pm: Ivan Doig at University Book Store
- Tues., Nov. 13, 7pm: Tom Robbins at Village Books
- Thurs., Nov. 15, 7pm: Jonathan Evison at Eagle Harbor Books
- Fri., Nov. 16, 7pm: Stephanie Kallos at Third Place Books
- Tues., Nov. 20, 7pm: Timothy Egan at Elliott Bay Books
