Hope Lives in a Garden, is a small book about big ideas narrated by Nutmeg, a stuffed monkey who accompanies Helen on her journey with cancer. Together they explore the power of whimsy and gratitude in healing, and challenge the conventional metaphor of fighting cancer, discovering gardening as an alternative. Read an aticle and review featured in The Northern Light for more about Helen's book.

Helen Worley grounds her life in thanksgiving, even in the face of daunting challenges. In her work Helen spent many hours with cancer patients; she cared for her first husband during his three bouts of the disease, nursing him at home during his last days; she then faced two separate cancer diagnoses herself. She lives in Blaine, WA with her husband LeRoy and very spoiled rescue-cat Noah. Hope Lives in a Garden…a tale of whimsy and healing is her first book. To see her art, visit helenworley.com.
