Village Books is excited to debut a "Local Author Showcase" the second Friday of each month at 7pm. The events will bring two to four local authors to our store, offering a chance for the authors to talk about their books and promote their new work in the community. Come support our local writers!

Featured author Pamela Beason will be reading about her book Endangered:

When two-year-old Zachary Fischer vanishes from a Utah park, sensational television coverage hints that a cougar snatched the child. Wildlife biologist Sam Westin has reason to believe that a man is the real perpetrator. Can she prove it before it's too late for the boy and the big cats?

Pamela Beason lives in Bellingham, WA, where she writes novels and screenplays and works as a freelance writer/editor and a private investigator. When she's not on the job, she explores the wilderness in hiking boots or snowshoes, in her kayak, and underwater as a scuba diver.
