Julie Bell is a lay Buddhist practictioner from the Kadampa Meditation Center in Washington who lives in Mount Vernon. Her Buddhist practices helps her find peace and meaning in her daily life as a mother of two teenage boys and as a preschool teacher.
3pm: "Fun with Qigong" with Robert Bates, Licensed Chiropractor & Cranial Sacral Therapist
In the Five Flows Qigong set (Simple Tai Chi), I offer a simple, gentle, and effective way to release stress and foster health. You will learn principles you can apply to all of your life—principles of movement, posture, breath, and being. This health-promotion practice is accessible, doable, and useful for people of all levels of health. Robert Bates is a healer and a teacher of healing. He holds a Master of Medical Qigong degree, is a licensed Chiropractor, and is an advanced Cranial Sacral Therapist.
