Join us at Village Books for our annual poetry reading celebrating Oregon's late poet laureate, William Stafford. One of the best-known and loved American poets, Stafford served as Poetry Consultant to the Library of Congress, received the National Book Award for Traveling Through the Dark, and taught for many years at Lewis & Clark College in Portland. He grew up in Kansas, was a conscientious objector during World War II, and was widely admired for his generosity. Bellingham poet, Jim Bertolino, will host.
