The Great Bellingham Fish Book, first published by the Bellingham branch of the American Association of University Women in 1983, is a rare combination of history, folklore, and cookbook, with some great illustrations. The first printing of the book sold out and the volume was reprinted in 1985. It wasn't long before that printing was exhausted and for twenty-five years it didn't see the light of day. The book is once more available in it's original form, with a new introduction added. For cooking, learning about the area's fishing industry, or reading about local history, it's hard to beat The Great Bellingham Fish Book.
