Village Books and WCC Community and Continuing Education have established a writing instruction collaboration called Chuckanut Writers. Writing classes, seminars, and conferences will inspire and encourage writers at all stages of their writing journey.

How fast should a story move, and how do you identify the tangents and drudgery that will slow it down? Come learn what exactly it means to "kill your darlings," which ones you should leave alive, and how to transform a rambling narrative into something readers will blitz through. Spencer Ellsworth is a former agent, freelance editor, and author of the Starfire Trilogy from Tor Books and The Great Faerie Strike.
