Village Books and WCC Community and Continuing Education have established a writing instruction collaboration called Chuckanut Writers. Writing classes, seminars, and conferences will inspire and encourage writers at all stages of their writing journey.

Are you not quite sure why a story crashes? Or why you never seem to be able to write action sequences? Or why your dialogue is flat? Come learn how to spot your writing weaknesses before you put a story out there--and how to work on them while emphasizing your strengths. Spencer Ellsworth is a former agent, freelance editor, and author of the Starfire Trilogy from Tor Books and The Great Faerie Strike.

Instructor: Spencer Ellsworth. Class size is limited--register early! Class meets Saturday, May 14, from 10am to 12 noon and is $39; click here to register. To see the full listing of current Chuckanut Writers classes, click here.
