Erin hails from Bellingham and returned to her roots back in 2015 to raise her son. In addition to reading, Erin loves cheesy movies, walks at the beach, yard work, and a glass of wine at the end of the day. She also enjoys sleep when she can get it.
My favorite dystopian book (and series, Maddaddam) written by one of my favorite authors!
This book is completely consuming, from the very visual texting choices to the really eery tale it tells. I cannot express enough my love of this book!
Gaiman is a master storyteller. Enough said. I recommend everything he writes!
Ishiguro won me over with this fable-like telling of an elderly couple traveling to see their son, and the mist that has obscured the world is beginning to lift...
Gaiman takes a mythology I'm less familiar with and makes it fun and engaging.
My favorite Studio Ghibli film, adapted into this beautifully packaged novel.
My favorite author, Franz Kafka, and my favorite book of all time (so far).
The fictional account of originators of a comic book series, sprinkled with plenty of historical footprints. Before reading this, I really didn't read comic books or graphic novels, and with a new appreciation, I now have quite a few of both in my collection.
