Village Books and WCC Community and Continuing Education have created a new writing instruction collaboration called Chuckanut Writers. Writing classes, seminars, and conferences will inspire and encourage writers at all stages of their writing journey.
Spend an afternoon parsing the territory where literature meets the land. Guided by Robert Michael Pyle, you will have a chance to make fresh words inspired by places, people, and other species fresh in your mind. We'll share our words and reactions, and leave with a renewed and broadened palette of expression and imagination. Robert Michael Pyle writes poetry, essay, and fiction from an old Swedish farmstead on a tributary of the lower Columbia River. His eighteen books include Wintergreen, The Thunder Tree, and Evolution of the Genus Iris: Poems.
Class is $45; click here to register. To see the full listing of current Chuckanut Writers classes, click here.
