Engage in a lively, moderated conversation and Q & A session with a legendary voice in women’s rights.

Gloria Steinem is a writer, lecturer, political activist, and feminist organizer. She co-founded New York Magazine and Ms. Magazine, and is particularly interested in the shared origins of sex and race caste systems, gender roles and child abuse as roots of violence, non-violent conflict resolution, the cultures of indigenous peoples, and organizing across boundaries for peace and justice. In 2013, President Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor. She lives in New York City.

Tickets available at the Mount Baker Theatre box office and online at mountbakertheatre.com (not at Village Books). Premier ticket purchase includes an unsigned copy of Ms. Steinem's new book: The Truth Will Set You Free, But First it Will Piss You Off - A Lifetime of Quotes.

Village Books will also be onsite selling Ms. Steinem's new release and previous titles.

Ms. Steinem will sign books (first-come, first-served basis) in the lobby after the event for one hour.
