Every year, Village Books partners with the WWU Children's Literature Conference to bring amazing authors and illustrators to Bellingham for a day of celebrating kids' literature. Past presenters have included many award-winning authors like Lois Lowry, Katherine Applegate, E. B. Lewis, Kirby Larson and many more!
A Virtual Exhibit, titled Art as Protest/Art in the Time of COVID, will be free to access for the entire month of February. A culminating Day of Conversations on Saturday, February 27, will provide an opportunity for inspired dialogue about the exhibit. Conversations will be held at 10-11 a.m. and 2-3 p.m., online via Zoom. Registration for the Day of Conversation is available through the conference website. The cost to attend is free but registration is required. To find out more information about the conference, please visit wwuclc.com.
