Village Books and WCC Community and Continuing Education have established a writing instruction collaboration called Chuckanut Writers. Writing classes, seminars, and conferences will inspire and encourage writers at all stages of their writing journey.
Writing non-fiction/memoir stories, while based on real experiences, still requires the crafting of compelling characters. In this session we'll delve into the exciting process of identifying people in your own life--who populate your own stories--and transforming them into characters who can drive your plot. Melissa Johnson is a filmmaker, writer, teacher, and lifelong learner.
Instructor: Melissa Johnson. Class meets Thursday, Sept. 21 from 5:00-6:30pm, and is $29; click to register to attend IN PERSON.
