Village Books and WCC Community and Continuing Education have established a writing instruction collaboration called Chuckanut Writers. Writing classes, seminars, and conferences will inspire and encourage writers at all stages of their writing journey.

The body of a story is only as strong as its spine. With strong characters in high conflict, it can be hard to define aplot outline. Finding a story's spine is a tool to find gaps in stories as well as see where a story's strength lies in terms of theme. This interactive workshop led by Rebecca Mabanglo-Mayor, a multi-genre author and professional storyteller, will give you ways to find any missing bones that may be keeping you from a completing a satisfying story.

Instructor: Rebecca Mabanglo-Mayor. Class meets February 26 from 6-7:30pm, and is $25; click to register. To see the full listing of current Chuckanut Writers classes, click here.
