Becky Mandelbaum is the author of The Bright Side Sanctuary for Animals and Bad Kansas, which received the 2016 Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction and the 2018 High Plains Book Award for First Book. Her work has appeared in One Story, The Sun, The Georgia Review, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and elsewhere. Jessica Gigot is a poet, farmer, teacher, and musician. She has a small farm in Bow, WA called Harmony Fields that makes artisan sheep cheese and grows organic herbs. Her second book, Feeding Hour, was published (Nov 2020) by Trail to Table Press, an imprint of Wandering Aengus Press. Her writing appears in several publications such as Orion, Taproot, Gastronomica, The Hopper, and Poetry Northwest.
