Uncorking a Wonderful Life is a story of one man’s dark journey into addiction and how author Bob Schober created a sober, wonderful life through 12 Step Programs. He will talk about how his story can help parents and friends better understand what's happened to their loved ones and what it takes to get clean and sober. He will also address its causes, effects and recovery.
Bob Schober has been clean and sober for 36 years. He and his wife Rene Laventure moved to Bellingham from Pittsburgh in 2011 and now live in Blaine. Schober retired from several careers as journalist, handyman and woodworker. He and Rene love to read and roam.
