Village Books is proud to present Bob Woodward in partnership with the Mount Baker Theatre, as part of our Booked at the Baker series. The event starts at 7:30pm, doors open at 7pm.
Investigative journalist Bob Woodward is an Associate Editor for The Washington Post and author of various bestsellers.
As a speaker, Woodward pulls back the curtain on Washington and its leaders to captivate audiences with stories that are sometimes surprising, at times shocking, and always fascinating. This legend in reporting has won nearly every American journalism award, including two Pulitzer Prizes. Woodward has co-authored 21 bestselling books of which 15 were #1 - more than any other contemporary non-fiction writer. In listing the all-time 100 best non-fiction books, Time Magazine calls All the President’s Men, his and Carl Bernstein’s account of the Watergate Scandal, “perhaps the most influential piece of journalism in history.”
"He has an extraordinary ability to get otherwise responsible adults to spill their guts to him…his ability to get people to talk about stuff they shouldn’t be talking about is just extraordinary and may be unique.”
—Robert Gates, former Director of the CIA and Secretary of Defense
Bob Woodward will be joined by moderator Ron Judd for a 45-minute conversation followed by a 45-minute audience Q&A session.
