The Midnight Show is a behind-the-scenes peek and a road trip through the Baby Boom generation’s struggles and triumphs. If you were there, your own story will come forth—if not, you either know someone who was, or you may wish that you were. Camille generously shares her current understanding of the meaning and purpose of it all.

"From the opening scene, this extraordinary life story reads like Jeanette Walls imagined by Neil Gaiman. Cole takes us by the hand, tells her story with rare warmth and humor, and leaves us with the sense that with the right lens, our own lives must be as peculiar and wonderful. Enthusiastically recommended."
- Bob Bickford, author of A Blueberry Moon for Corah

Camille Cole is the author of two books for classroom teachers and a narrative nonfiction account of her great aunt's life-a renowned educator. She has published short stories, articles, book reviews, and a monthly column. Once upon a time she wrote a monthly serialized satirical soap opera about life in Oregon," As the Rain Falls". The Midnight Show is Camille's debut memoir. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her dog, Lillian Albright-Lily.
