Papa Green Bean is the pen name of John S Green. As an early childhood development and education advocate for first time parents, John believes in respectful and thoughtful parenting foremost, but, also understands the huge benefits of playfulness and humor. About the Illustrator Christen Mattix makes whimsical watercolor illustrations inspired by her adventurous childhood and her deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. Mattix has exhibited her artwork throughout the Pacific Northwest and nationally. Her work has been included in numerous publications including City Art Magazine, Bellingham Herald, and Cascadia Weekly and she is the author of Skein.
