Join us on Zoom as we welcome these two talented authors BACK to the virtual Readings Gallery to discuss the second instalment in Buchanan's Sean McPherson novels!
In Iconoclast, Sean “Mick” McPherson goes up against the mob. With Seattle to the south, the Canadian border a stone's throw to the north, and Bellingham Bay—a gateway to the Pacific Ocean—immediately to the west, Bellingham is the ideal location for the Gambino crime family to traffic drugs, weapons, and humans. Iconoclast is the follow-up to Indelible, the first Sean McPherson novel.
A cross between Dr. Doolittle, Nanny McPhee, and a type-A Buddhist, Laurie Buchanan is an active listener, observer of details, payer of attention, reader and writer of books, kindness enthusiast, and red licorice aficionado. She and her husband live in the Pacific Northwest, where she enjoys long walks, bicycling, camping, and photography.
A native New Yorker, Ashley E. Sweeney now lives and writes in La Conner, Washington. In her 25 years living in Whatcom County, Sweeney worked for The Lynden Tribune, Lynden Christian Schools, Whatcom Literacy Council, Bellingham Technical College, and Nooksack Indian Tribe. Her first novel, Eliza Waite, won PNWA's Nancy Pearl Award. Her other novels include the award-winning Answer Creek and the forthcoming Hardland to be released in September.
