Living High is the remarkable story of June & Farrar, their trust in life and courage to be unconventional offer inspiration and a compass for today's world. Skye Burn will read from the new edition of Living High and share previously unseen photographs, original recordings of Farrar's songs, and an introduction to the June & Farrar Project.
Skye Burn, producer of the June & Farrar Project, grew up on a small island in the Salish Sea where she attended a one room school and lived in a log cabin without electricity or running water. June & Farrar were her grandparents. They instilled a love for humanity and commitment to creativity which have been Skye's lodestones. Her previous works include The Flow Project, which influenced global arts education policy and leadership education; Revitalizing the Love of Life, a solo dance and singing performance; and The Story We Are Living, a literary work which addresses religious tensions in the U.S.
On June 16, Skye will be sharing Living High in Fairhaven. Check out that event here.
