When your writing resonates emotionally with readers, it lingers in a deeply personal way. Fiction writer Connie Hampton Connally will share how we can use imagery, interior monologue, and a character's reactions to bring the reader into the heart of a story.
Connie Hampton Connally is a Tacoma fiction writer. Her novel The Songs We Hide, set in communist Hungary, has been praised as “a captivating masterpiece of historical fiction” (Foreword Reviews). An experienced teacher and editor, Connie loves interacting with other writers and helping them sharpen their craft. She has published newspaper articles and magazine stories and is currently writing another novel set in Hungary. She holds a BA in English from the University of Washington and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Antioch University.
