Our monthly Open Mic is back in the Readings Gallery AND on Zoom! Join us and support local writers and poets.
Village Books invites everyone to enjoy local talents as they share their own stories, poems and essays. Published and unpublished writers are encouraged to attend and enjoy a welcoming audience. Our regular emcee and celebrated local author, Seán Dwyer, will host as he does every month. Pre-registration to read is required and spaces are limited so whether you plan to read in person or on Zoom, please email Sean at sean@seandwyerauthor.com to secure your spot! Our Open Mic is held the last Monday of each month at 7pm in the Readings Gallery on the bottom floor of Village Books in Fairhaven, and on Zoom. Please note that each reader is allotted a firm time limit of 5 minutes to read.
Seán Dwyer teaches Spanish at Western Washington University and is the author of his memoir, A Quest for Tears: Surviving Traumatic Brain Injury.
COVID protocol for our in-person events requires masks for all attendees and proof of full vaccination upon arrival. Thank you for your cooperation.
