From 11am-4pm, on the hour, we’ll feature local experts presenting mini-workshops on topics ranging from clearing the clutter, to navigating difficult conversations, to making fitness goals. Are you putting off a conversation with someone important to you, and that person is living rent-free in your head? Are there tough conversations you tend to avoid? Start the New Year by learning tools to enhance all your relationships. We will discuss when to speak up, how to create safety in a conversation, and how to “confront” effectively. Monique Stefens is a facilitator and life coach.
1pm: Advance Care Planning for Everyone with WAHA End of Life Choices
What if you were in an accident or became suddenly ill? Who would speak for you? Making your health care choices known in advance is a gift to those you love. Advanced Care Planning lets our loved ones know how to care for you when you cannot speak for yourself. This seminar will focus on choosing a health care agent, indicating the care you want and don’t want, and making decisions that reflect your goals and values. This hands-on seminar provides necessary documents to make your decisions and wishes known.
