Meet Father Christmas! - 12-3pm on Nov 25, Dec 2, & Dec 9. Santa’s mailbox will be located at the Village Green for easy access during Winterfest events! Make sure to include a return address and legible name so Santa and his elves can send a return message!
Enjoy a Free Carriage Ride! - 12-3pm on Nov 25, Dec 2, & Dec 9. Listen to the clip-clop of hooves as a band of horses takes you in a loop around the streets of Historic Fairhaven Village. The carriage picks up and drops off outside the entrance to the Fairhaven Village Inn. The ride is FREE but there is a "carrot donation bucket" for the horses.
Fairhaven Winter Art Walk - 4-7pm on Nov 25. Presented by the Bellingham Makers Market, the Fairhaven Winter Art Market features local artisans to help you with your local holiday shopping! Stop by 1106 Harris Ave to pick up a map of all participating locations.
Holiday Tree Lighting - 5pm on Nov 25. Watch as Santa Claus lights the Village tree. The annual tradition is a great way to capture the first Saturday of Winterfest.
Fairhaven Firelight Stroll - 5-8pm on Dec 2. Now in its 6th year, Fairhaven Firelight Stroll has become a favorite holiday tradition! Grab a hot cocoa or spiced cider at the entry tent and stroll the wooded path lined with luminaria. Free admission, donations welcomed!
Winterfest Block Party at Stones Throw Brewery - 5-9pm on Dec 2. After your firelit stroll through the woods, celebrate Winterfest with a community block party with a beer or hot beverage at Stones Throw Brewery!
Lighted Bike Parade - 5pm on Dec 9. The community is invited to adorn their bodies and bikes with lights and pedal on the South Bay Trail between Fairhaven and Downtown!
